Short Biography
Dr. Kant Lormsomboon is a Thai pianist, conductor, and cultural entrepreneur. The first Thai pianist to earn a Master’s degree from the Mozarteum University Salzburg, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, and Wiener Konzerthaus, among other leading venues across 11+ countries. He is Co-founder, Music Director and Conductor of the Arts & Nature Ensemble, whose 60+ productions include the landmark Annual Mountain-Top Concert. A recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award from the Hong Kong International Music & Arts Festival, his students have achieved international competition wins in Budapest and New York. In 2024, he play-directed Puccini’s Madame Butterfly as his conducting debut.
